Customs and Excise have decided to redesign their electronic publishing interface and are looking for a partner within the Public/Private Partnership initiative to carry out the re-design. They have launched a Corporate Electronic Publishing Project with the objective of delivering key corporate information to external and internal audiences using Internet.

The success of the drive to transform schools depends largely on heads and their deputies carrying through the radical reforms. The College for School Leadership, backed by an investment of 100m pounds is one of the channels through which they will receive support. The College, which was announced in the Education Green Paper will be set up next year. Education Minister David Blunkett in launching the prospectus said: “Our best heads are superb but we need more high quality school leaders.
