The 10,000 strong Institute of Healthcare Management (IHM) is to hold a special conference in London next week to help managers spot the signs that would help them flush out where a clinician is failing their patients.The conference comes in the wake of the Harold Shipman case and will look at legal and professional regulatory considerations, how the coroner can help and other difficult issues such as whistle-blowing.
