The first regional development plan to follow a new, more inclusive and robust process has just been published for an area of England.Regional Planning Guidance (RPG) for East Anglia - including the dynamic Cambridge sub-region - comes just days after Stephen Byers expressed concerns that some areas of England might be lagging behind in the digital revolution (Publicnet Briefing, Wednesday, November 22, 2000)

DRUG USE BY TEENAGERS HOLDING STEADY

New survey material about the level of drugs use among teenagers has been seized by Anti-Drugs Co-ordinator Keith Hellawell as evidence that the current policies are working well.Two-and-a-half years into the Government’s ten year drugs strategy, new information from the Office of National Statistics (ONS) indicates that 85 per cent of teenagers have not tried drugs.
