FOUR AREAS TO PILOT PUSH FOR PRIVATE SECTOR INVOLVEMENT IN REGENERATION

Four areas have been chosen to pilot a model for promoting private sector investment in improving deprived communities. Bradford, Lewisham, Oldham and Waltham Forest will take part in the Under-served Markets project, a joint initiative between the Department for Communities and Local Government and Business in the Community.

New research says public sector leaders are failing to deliver effective leadership programmes and that decision makers still have an internal focus and fail to look beyond the boundaries of their own organisations for opportunities for collaboration. The research has been carried out by organisational development specialists, CPCR.
