Health and social care workers in Lancashire are to use a new high-speed network, which will enable them to collaborate more effectively and work more easily while they are on the move. The network and a bespoke service desk will provide a single point of contact for staff from eight healthcare trusts in the county.

CIVIL SERVANTS WIN REVIEW OF CHANGES TO REDUNDANCY ENTITLEMENT

The High Court has ruled in favour of a trade union trying to block measures that would reduce the level of redundancy pay for civil servants. Lawyers representing the Public and Commercial Services Union argued that changes to the Civil Service Compensation Scheme, which were made without agreement, were unlawful.
