Re-cycling is big business and as attitudes have changed it has become a growing business. Although it makes economic sense it also particularly makes environmental sense. But re-cycling has not been so successful for those on the move. John Williamson suggests a strategy for street re-cycling to address this issue.
As more people access council websites through mobiles a survey shows that visitor satisfaction is falling.
The survey by the Society of IT Management shows that the percentage of visits from mobile devices averaged 27.4% for the first five months of 2013, with January recording the highest numbers to data at 28.8%. It appears that the higher the number of total visits, the higher the percentage from mobile devices -in January severe weather led to high levels of council website visits overall.

There has been a noticeable shift in the pattern of offending among young people since 2008/09. According the latest figures, re-offending rates are up 3% despite a 37% smaller cohort, suggesting that a hard core of youngsters remain who have become locked in a cycle of criminality.
