It describes how Arun District Council, North Tyneside Council and Wealden District Council cut overpayment of benefits by £100,000 through the introduction of an intelligent electronic application form.

The processing of benefit applications has also been speeded up.

The intelligent form initiative was funded by the Department of Work and Pensions and developed by OITUK. It replaced a previously cumbersome paper form.
