This programme is now available to view on localgov.tv the online television channel for public service modernisation. It describes how Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council has saved half a million pounds after introducing the EMC Documentum solution.

By replacing paper files with an electronic document management system it was possible to free up office space, cut travel costs by £170K a year and give improved access to council records.

The EMC Documentum solution has also improved document security by ensuring that files cannot be accidently lost or deleted.
