A new forum for the New Deal for Communities partnerships to share their knowledge has been launched on the regeneration website www.regen.net. The New Deal for Communities takes forward the Government’s commitment to tackle social exclusion and the gap between the poorest neighbourhoods and the rest of the country.
The site is a free one-stop shop providing the latest information on regeneration activities. It offers partnerships, set up under the 800 million pounds New Deal for Communities programme, the chance to network and exchange ideas. It puts local people and service providers in touch with each other to exchange information, advice and experience. It provides articles, guidance and lists of key contacts to raise awareness of new developments in regeneration.
