Public sector managers who have found the MBA not totally appropriate as a qualification have for the first time got an equivalent alternative.Designed to be on par with the internationally recognised qualification for top private sector managers, the University of Warwick has launched an MPA three year, part-time degree.

The Local Government Centre of the university’s business school has a strong track record of working with the public sector, though the masters degree is offered to any leader and manager in the public sector.

The Warwick MPA will concentrate on strategic policy-making and corporate management and is designed to help managers both in local and central government raise their game at a time of great change.

The deadline for enrolment is the end of this month. For details contact Louise.Mitchell@warwick.ac.uk
