With interest growing almost daily in the possibilities of e-government, a conference in London starts tomorrow which puts delegates from central and local government, and the emergency services under one roof with their potential partners from the private sector.The Electronic Government Forum, at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, Westminster runs tomorrow (Wednesday) and Thursday the 16th.
The forum puts emphasis on the spreading of best practice between delegates, and in exploring potential partnerships with private sector providers of e-Government solutions.
The forum is built around a series of discussion groups to be facilitated by Information Age Champions, workshops and one on one meetings with commercial suppliers.
Each delegate follows a personal agenda, based on selections made in advance from the event web site, thus ensuring the best use of their time.
